The Clog Barn, Coffs Harbour

written by The Junior Nomads February 9, 2016
Clog Barn, Coffs Harbour

Experience the colour and charm of Holland without leaving Coffs Harbour!

The dream of Dutch born Tom Hartsuyker, the Clog Barn is one of the major tourist attractions in Coffs Harbour, and one of those tourist attractions where you should actually feel like you could be in a totally difference country.

Unfortunately for us, the cafe was not open when we visited, and while the miniature Dutch village was great to see, there were no demonstrations for how to make the clogs and overall it was a very quick visit with not too much to see or do at all. This was disappointing, as the property seems like it has potential. Their website advertises the following:

Watch FREE Clog making demonstrations 11am, 2pm & 4pm daily.
See our fantastic miniature Dutch village with working railway – with FREE entry.
Stay with us in our clean, comfortable and affordable accommodation – centrally located to all Coffs harbour amenities and attractions.
Guests can swim in the worlds only Clog shaped pool!
Experience mouth watering Dutch delights at Big Oma’s Coffee House – open from 8am until 5pm.
