“Beautiful flavours and surroundings ”
Dined in the restaurant last night as we stayed overnight in the adjacent Village de Santo Resort. We ordered a tapas plate which was absolutely divine, the only reason we didn’t finish is cause we stuffed ourselves on our mains and had no room left! We had kumala stuffed with kalamata olives and feta, served with a side of what we think was a spicy caramelised onion with olive mix. Absolutely delicious! This was followed by a vegetable curry with rice, and fresh poulet fish on a potato rosti and vegetable base. We really couldn’t fault anything, and though their menu says small serves so you can taste more, there was nothing wrong with the serving sizes!
We followed up with a continental brekky the next morning which included banana pancakes and fresh banana bread. These weren’t the usual pancakes either with banana mash – they were 1 cm thick and had whole slices of banana cooked in them. Topped with pineapple syrup and coconut syrup, they were delicious. Highly recommend a visit here. The ambience is great at all times of day, and very friendly staff.
