THE PARK
Park Size The park is of reasonable size. There are over 100 sites, as well as a number of cottages, cabins and larger villas for families. The layout of the park is straightforward, long and thin, and one-way driving all the way around so be careful.
Drive Through Sites No
Landscaping The park has bitumen roadways. Most sites are grassed, however there are a few down the far end of the park that are still sandy following the removal of some permanents. There were occasions with heavy rain and some small water buildup but nothing off concern. The park has well-established trees all around and gardens. There is landscaping around the amenities, pools and kids playground, and all the cabin os_accommodation.
Lighting The park is reasonably well-lit at night. There are two amenities blocks so at night you won’t have trouble finding one.
Outdoor Kitchen/BBQ There is a camp kitchen with oven, cooktop and microwave facilities. There are also numerous BBQ huts around the park.

ATMOSPHERE
Noise The park is very quiet and tranquil. Some noise will be heard on gig nights or movie nights depending on your site location.
Openness The park has trees for shade along the outer edges of the campsites and through the middle sites, and grassy lawns. The sites are some of the smallest we have seen, and many require you to park your car out the front near the road, which does create a hazard during busy seasons. Some people will feel cramped. All sites are relatively level.
Shade Yes, throughout the park
Permanents A few, though many of these have recently been removed
Fires No
SUITABILITY Depending on what you need, it is suitable for both short and long-term stopovers. It’s located convenient to shops, and the bigger centres of Bega and Merimbula. There are plenty of beaches around perfect for boating, fishing or relaxing, and is central to everything the Sapphire Coast has to offer.
LOCATION
Road Conditions The park itself has bitumen roads, some of which could do with some repairs, but there are no dirt roads. Speed bumps are throughout the park.
Nearby Attractions 20 minutes from Bega, and the Bega Heritage Centre. 20 minutes to Merimbula. Just down the hill from Fat Tony’s Restaurant.
