“AWM – a must-see for all Australians”
An extremely moving tribute, and a must-see for all Australians. We came for two days, there was just so much to see. On the first afternoon we waited until closing for the last post ceremony, guaranteed to bring a tear to your eye. They commemorate a soldier each afternoon, and it was lovely to see they bring the soldiers living relatives. The second afternoon we watched the 2:30pm changing of the guards ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Make sure you see both these events, they are very formal and extremely moving.
