Our #52things Quest this week was to Send a Postcard Overseas. When considering where to send ours to, we looked at sites such as http://www.postcrossing.com, where if you send a postcard overseas you will get one back yourself. While we thought it was a great idea, we wanted ours to make more of a difference to its recipient, and so we decided to be a bit patriotic and send ours to … our Aussie troops overseas.
The Australian Government’s Department of Defence has a division especially set up for people to show their support of our troops who are deployed on overseas operations.
