Week 3’sĀ #52things Quest was easily accomplished by young and old this week thanks to the Tathra Beach Family Park where we’re currently staying. As one of their afternoon Kids Club activities they offered coloured sand bottle creations. A messy but fun task and who doesn’t remember being fascinated by the layers of coloured sand in bottles as kids?
We were also very intrigued by the website we discovered, IslandGram, so thought we’d give that a go, and send a virtual message in a bottle (those of you who feel very strongly against putting more ‘rubbish’ in the ocean would be proud of us!). Our message was simple: our new motto for the year – “Life is either a daring adventure … or nothing”. A fabulous saying by Helen Keller, that we thought we’d adopt for the year.
Also this week we finished off our Week 2 Quest to Get A Massage. And my, what a massage it was! Done by one of the campers here at Tathra who happened to be a qualified masseuse, we both agreed that it was the most painful but best massage we had ever had. Every single muscle got a workout, and for the first time we got to try ‘cupping’. Initially a bit of a skeptic, there’s no scepticism now! However it works, it helped get kinks out of muscles that we didn’t even know were there and would not have been possible without it. We feel looser, more flexible and generally just so much happier since having it done. It really makes you wonder why on earth you put off simple things like that? People are happy to spend money on things they don’t need, or plain waste money, when something like this is so vital to your health. There’s no way we will be putting it off again for another 12 months! With any luck, we might score another one while we’re here š

Hello,
As owner and creator of Islandgram.com we are happy and excited you found and used our website.
We also offer real message in a bottle gifts and invitations that go into the postal seas, arriving at their port of destination in several days.
Appreciating the time and energy you put into your website and in depth information you offer.
It’s nice to come across a blog every once in a while that isn’t the same out
of date rehashed information. Wonderful read! I’ve saved
your site and I’m including your RSS feeds to my Google account.
