Room service
Room service is not strictly advertised, though as Wayne was unwell we were able to have food delivered to the room, which was done without any hassles and with their usual big smiles.

THE RESORT

Size There are a total of 18 bungalows, with slightly varying room configurations, some which will suit families. Concrete pathways lead you between lush rainforest gardens, set beneath huge trees which provide plenty of shade from the warmth during the day. The pool is overlooked by undercover restaurant seating as well as an outdoor deck. Water views are available from the reception/restaurant area.
Proximity to Town It’s only a five-minute drive from the centre of Luganville. A taxi will cost you about 3000Vatu, or about AU$3.30.

Presentation: Very nice
Overall food rating: Fantastic! The best soup we’ve tasted anywhere – Pumpkin with coconut and ginger – and Roast Chicken stuffed with fresh pawpaw.

Presentation The reception area is beautiful and clean, and decorated with numerous local artefacts. It’s worth taking a bit of time just to explore this aspect of the resort. Seating is available within reception, as well as along the veranda overlooking the water or our the back by the pool. (Hint: the best wifi reception will be out the back undercover as it is closest to the office) Landscaping around the whole resort is very lush and well looked after. Concrete pathways lead to all bungalows.

SUITABILITY
The resort is great for couples, families and groups. On the day we checked out, the resort was fully booked by a Dive Adventures group from Brisbane who had come here to scuba dive and snorkel the various underwater sites around Santo.

LOCATION

Nearby Attractions Five-minute taxi to Luganville town centre or the jetty over to Aore Island. Twenty-minute drive to the SS President Coolidge and Million Dollar Point dive sites. About an hour boat trip to the SS Tucker dive site. 35-minute drive to Champagne Beach, Blue Hole and Port Olry. About a 20-minute drive from Santo’s main airport.
