“Delicious food, great value”
Saw the sign for this cafe while driving through town, so thought we’d check it out. It’s close to the ocean and South Broulee Beach where surfing is very popular. The cafe itself doesn’t have ocean views but as we were after some takeaway anyway this didn’t matter. There was a small wait for food, but we’re glad we did. The hot chips were great value – for $4.50 you actually got a very decent serving size, and they were delicious. Crispy and not oily. The chicken Turkish melt was served in a takeaway container with salad (wasn’t expecting that), and was served as an open melt, so double the chicken and other toppings. Plenty of chicken also, no scrimping, so was able to do us for afternoon tea as well. The chicken burger likewise was delicious, and good value. Would definitely recommend this cafe and would be happy to stop in again.
