“Large and undergoing great improvements”
Stayed here for a week and was very surprised at the size of the park. It’s deceptively large with accommodation ranging from villas at the front to more budget sized cabins in the middle and a huge amount of campsites, some with concrete slabs and some without. There are a couple of amenities blocks which are tidy, but they were also building a new block at the rear which was looking very nice. This would be close to new campsites. There is an onsite cafe at the front which overlooks the water which does very nice meals. It’s open for brekky which is the only place in Woodgate that is. Office sells petrol and some basic supplies. The park is just across the road from the beach, which is an absolute hidden gem and fantastic for families. Halfway between Bundaberg and Hervey Bay, it’s definitely worth the visit.
