“Not bad, but nothing special”
We went as a family and ordered four dishes, including Chicken Pad Thai, Vegetarian Laska Curry, and Chicken Masaman Curry. The Pad Thai was nice enough, a little gluggy and not made with traditional pad Thai noodles but thinner ones. An ok dish but not worth $16. The Masaman curry was delicious, though not as many veges in it as we would have liked. The other two dishes were nearly too spicy to eat – one of them we in fact took the whole thing home to add some coconut milk etc to cool it down for another meal. The decor is very basic, tables not matching, some chairs and tables stacked up visible in a corner and presumably a workers jacket left hanging over a chair on a guest table that was all set up. It’s quite open to see through to the kitchen and all we could see and hear was the chef either talking to somebody else in the kitchen who didn’t appear to be a worker (very long hair not tied back either) or getting up at the young waitress, who seemed nice but timid, and who could blame her. Not the greatest experience.
