ATMOSPHERE

Noise
The park is set right on a main road, so depending on where your site is located you may experience some road noise, but in saying that, we had no issues with traffic noise and the convenience of location was superb. The park itself was very busy but exceptionally quiet.

Openness
The park has plenty of trees for shade and grassy lawns, so even in the busiest of periods you do not feel cramped in. Grassed gardens and amenity blocks break up the sites also. All sites are level.

Shade
Plenty

Permanents
No

Fires
No

SUITABILITY
Depending on what you need, it is suitable for both short and long-term stopovers. It’s located convenient to everything around the heart of Melbourne. We have stayed here for a number of weeks in total so far.

LOCATION

Road Conditions
The park is located on a main road. Depending on where your site is within the park, you may experience some traffic noise. The park itself has only bitumen or concrete roads, all of which are in great condition. Speed bumps are located throughout the park and clearly marked.

Nearby Attractions
Being only 9km from Melbourne CBD, it is within driving distance of all major attractions, including sporting, theatre, historical, shopping and the boat to Tasmania.
