    Baan Phraya Thai Restaurant, Rothwell

    Hours

They are open every day of the week (thank goodness!).

    Monday to Wednesday 10:30am – 8:30pm.
    Thursday to Saturday 10:30am – 9pm.
    Sunday 10:30am – 8:30pm.

    Menu

Check out their full menu at http://www.menulog.com.au/baan_phraya_thai_rothwell?ml_affiliate_id=43#takeaway.

    Our Meals

We tend to stick to our standard favourites from the menu, as the flavours are so divine it’s impossible for us to get tired of them, and it’s reassuring that despite going here for nearly 18 months now, it’s still the exact same as it was the first time we dined here. A sure sign of a good restaurant! The flavours are intense, and having tried so many different Thai restaurants all down the east coast of Australia, we can honestly say that none can compare in flavour to Baan Phraya.

    Our favourites are:

Satay Chicken Skewers – Tender brochettes of chicken, marinated in 12 difference herbs and spices, then grilled. Served with a tasty golden peanut sauce and vegetable relish

Spring Rolls – Cooked spring rolls filled with vermicelli, carrots, cabbage and shi-take mushrooms, served with a plum flavoured sauce

Chicken Fried Rice – Thai style fried rice, cooked with your choice of meat (we always choose chicken), onion, tomato, egg, shallots and sauces

    Suitability

Perfect for families, couples or groups.

    Bookings

We have never needed to book, but we do tend to eat outside standard dining hours, so it’s probably wise to book ahead. On busy nights (such as State of Origin or other major events) their usual 15 minute cook time might blow out to about 30 minutes, but it’s definitely worth the wait!

    Mobile App

They don’t have their own Mobile App as such, however you can use the Menu Log App to pre-order your takeaway, or they will deliver for free to surrounding areas ($30min).
