Space is obviously precious when living in a moving house half the size of an average bedroom, so just like clothes and other travel accessories, food items need to be kept to a minimum and preferably are able to be used for multiple recipes. This recipe for homemade bread has only two ingredients, but you wouldn’t know it from the taste.

Thrown together about 12 months ago with all the flavours I could think of, this turned out surprisingly well and has become a bit of a favourite when we feel like something a little bit special. Apart from the number of ingredients we’ll need to have to get all the flavours, there should be no reason why we can’t duplicate this in a caravan oven on the road!
