Friendliness: Very friendly
Responsiveness to complaints: We had no complaints.
Helpfulness: Staff were very helpful in telling us what tourist attractions were close by, including National Parks, glow worm caves and the Natural Bridge.
Cleaning Staff
Due to its location, the park is managed by on-site Caretakers only. For larger groups staying longer than one night, it is a user-clean facility, and all cleaning products are supplied for this. Overnight stays for campers, etc. are not required to clean.

THE PARK
Park Size
Rosella Cottage: Rosella Cottage contains three beds (two single and one double) in two bedrooms. It is fully self-contained, with ensuite, fridge, stove, microwave, TV, etc.
Two bunk houses offer four rooms each with four bunks in each (eight beds per room). There are 32 beds in total per building.
The spacious Brunner Hall offers conference room facilities, complete with kitchen, chef’s quarters, projector screen and fireplace!
The old Log Cabin, built in 1963, can be used by all campers as a common meeting place to relax in or prepare meals. Appliances include two electric stoves, two fridges, two sinks, and a large wood fireplace.
Drive Through Sites
There are no formal drive through sites, but there is some limited availability (depending on how busy the camp is) to stay connected if you are just there for an overnight stay. Speak to the caretakers about this.
Landscaping
The park is very tidy, with large grassy fields surrounded by bush and trees providing plenty of shade. Bush tracks will take you down to the Platypus Pond and Bush Church.
Lighting
The park is not particularly bright at night, but due to it’s size you won’t have any trouble finding the amenities at night with their external lighting.

The Log Cabin communal area has all cooking facilities you might need.

The park is located on the border of Springbrook National Park, so as well as the park’s own bush walking tracks, you can explore the extensive walks in the National Park. Located at the park itself is an open grassy field suitable for group activities and sports, as well as a volleyball net.

While there are no formal activities for kids, there is plenty of exploring to be done down to the Platypus Pond or into the glow worm caves at Springbrook National Park. There is a park swing, large grassy fields perfect for ball sports and a volleyball net.

ATMOSPHERE
Noise
The park is set in the bush and the only noise you are likely to here that is man-made is from a few motorbikes that enjoy the winding roads on the weekend. Otherwise, listen out for the birds and the wind through the trees.
Openness
The park is quite open, surrounded by large trees and bush, but you will get plenty of sun still and is perfect if you have solar panels.

You can find shade around the edges of the park.

Individual fires are not allowed, however you are welcome to use the large wood fireplace in the old Log Cabin.
SUITABILITY
Suitability depends on what you are looking for. If you want a quiet escape to nature where you can do as much or as little as you like, it’s perfect. If you need somewhere with lots of things to keep the kids occupied or close to major shops, etc. it’s probably not for you long-term.
LOCATION
Road Conditions
The road to the park is winding and is still showing signs of damage from rockfalls and floods over the past few years, however we were able to negotiate it just fine towing our caravan.
The park itself has gravel driveways and plenty of open grassy spots so there are no access issues.
