    Brisbane: Sciencentre

“Ok for kids but could do with expanding and updating”

Firstly, at $14.50 for adults, we feel the price should be lower given it is definitely more suited to kids and kids can’t go without at least one adult. Secondly, it was disappointing even for adults like us who thoroughly enjoy normal kids attractions and exhibits. Everything felt old, outdated, and some of the limited exhibits didn’t work. Normally, an exhibit or two that doesn’t work wouldn’t be a huge drama, we understand that can happen. However, we were very disappointed with the overall size of the centre. Having spent a full day at the Science centre in Canberra (and could easily go back), we had enough after an hour and would not return.
We would highly recommend the centre put in sanitary hand cleaner dispensers (something the one in Canberra has in abundance). This seems very logical given the sheer number of children that go through and people are obviously encouraged to be hands on.
We are glad we visited to see, but that’s about it.
